Invitation to Contribute

The Department of Sanskrit, Jadavpur University, invites original and unpublished research articles for Anvīkṣā, Volume XLVIII (2026), its peer-reviewed research journal dedicated to the study of Sanskrit and its allied intellectual traditions.

With its transition to a digital platform, Anvīkṣā seeks to broaden its engagement with scholars and readers across national and international academic communities while continuing its established commitment to rigorous research and scholarly excellence.

We welcome contributions from academicians, researchers, doctoral scholars, and independent scholars working in Sanskrit studies and related interdisciplinary fields.

Manuscripts may be submitted in Sanskrit, English, or Bengali.

Editorial & Ethical Standards

Anvīkṣā considers only manuscripts that are original, unpublished, innovative, and relevant to the aims and scope of the journal.

  • Manuscripts must not have been simultaneously submitted to another journal.
  • All submissions must be original and free from plagiarism.
  • All sources and scholarly contributions must be properly acknowledged.
  • Authors must maintain academic integrity and responsible scholarly practice.
  • Submissions are subject to editorial assessment and peer review.
Important: Manuscripts may be subjected to plagiarism screening. Submissions that do not satisfy the journal's standards of originality and publication ethics may not proceed to peer review.
